Bought as a gift and beautifully package.
The scent was a bit too strong for me, but the recipient liked the pack very much.
I did purchase with a gift receipt just in case they were unwanted or too highly scented, But, despite high scent they are using pack initially in linen cupboard until scent softens enough for drawer use.
A very pretty gift, beautiful strawberry thief design. I would personally prefer more natural subtle scent.

To be honest, I returned in September for an even exchange. I selected another pattern/scent. After multiple attempts, I have had no communication with Bas Bleu - several emails, multiple telephone calls to speak to a representative. At this point, I would be happy with my refund, but there has been radio silence.

The paper liners have no discernible scent. I got two sets, one for my daughter, one for me, $50, will be used for wrapping paper for small objects. I mailed a sheet in an envelope to Bas Bleu to sniff, no response. I order from every catalog and am usually delighted. A refund should have been given upon report and sample of pretty $50 paper.

These are sensational. The scent is heavenly and the pattern is royal. The envelope seems functional for future use of “special” items. The 4-star rating is solely because I wish the squares came in a larger size. Thank you William Morris and Bas Bleu!
