Jonathan Maxcy (September 2, 1768 – June 4, 1820) was an American Baptist minister and college president.
College president, minister. Maxcy was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts, on September 2, 1768, the eldest son of Levi Maxcy and Ruth Newell.
Maxcy took office as Union's third president in 1802. Maxcy was especially interested in teaching writing and public speaking.
